About Me

I have coached a variety of people who were stuck. For some they were overwhelmed with all the things they needed to do in order to have a successful business. They were unclear of goals and planning and needed more accountability. For others they were stuck in careers that no longer fulfilled them. They needed to find the next chapter in their career. Then there are the ones who are needing the next chapter in their lives. Finding their purpose and heading towards it. I work in partnership with my clients for a period of 3 to 6 months. We meet weekly either in person, over the phone or on Skype. Sessions last from 30 to 60 minutes. Before each session I will send a questionnaire to get you ready for the session. Then we will discuss the issues that are keeping you from being your best and discover ways to address those issues. At the end of our coaching relationship, clients are more confident, blockages have been removed and they are ready to head forward in life. I’ve owned a coffee shop, been the Executive Director of a non-profit organization, worked with at-risk youth and teenage parents, as well as youth whose biggest challenge is what university to attend. I’ve worked for social justice around the world and am a mother of two adult sons. I was married for 26 years and then at the age of 45 found myself single. I have the ability to look through the many details and overwhelming weight of uncertainty to find clarity. While I am currently coaching, in the past I have also taught others to be coaches.

More In-Depth

I have had a varied background. I was married for 26yrs. I have 2 adult sons, 2 daughter-in-laws & 3 grand-daughters. I was involved in ministry at one level or anther during most of my life. I have served as an Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, Missioner and Missionary. I was a missionary with Youth For Christ USA & International. During my 20+ years with them I served as the local Teen MoMs Director as well as the local Executive Director. I along with three other women wrote the first Teen MoMs Ministry Manual. I served as the first Part-Time National Teen MoMs Director, which became Teen Parents, for numerous years and was then the first Full-Time Teen Parents Director for one year. From there I served with International as the Americas Area Training Director. I primarily worked with Central and South America as well as 8 Caribbean Islands. My job was do staff and board training as well as development. I also worked with the other area Directors to develop Global curriculum and trainings as well as Global events. The last being in South Africa with over 800 staff from over 100 countries around the world in attendance. Our focus was to have 500 young leaders in attendance. I also led one or more mission trips each year. I have built schools in Rwanda and a clinic in Haiti, not to mention more youth centers than I can count. I opened a Coffee House in Enid in 2000. I was the first one there and absolutely loved it! What a great way to connect with people. When I went on staff with YFC/USA full-time I knew I would be traveling more and couldn’t keep up with it. I leased the business out to 2 young men. When I went to the Caribbean I advised all the National Directors, as well as National Board members that when God raised somebody up in the Caribbean I would gracefully step aside. Either I was amazing, or God intervened or both, because in 2011 He did just that. A man in Trinidad was knocking it out of the ballpark. I had felt that my time was coming to an end with Youth For Christ and wanted to honor what I had said. In 2006 I, along with 19 other Youth For Christ International leaders was selected to go to Thailand for classroom training to become Life Coaches. We were trained through an organization called CoachNet International. I came back and was Coach/Mentored by Dr. Gary Reinecke, who wrote the training manual. After about 9 months we went back to Thailand for more classroom and to be trained as coach trainers. In 2015 I began another nine-month process with Strengths Strategy, Inc. to become a certified Strengths Strategy Coach.  In November of 2015 I received my certification.  I have coached people from numerous nations around the world as well as trained coaches. I have a passion for helping people find Clarity and direction. With my varied background and my strategic way of think, I am able to assist people in finding order in their lives.
